Where Desert Meets the Ocean, a New Mixed Media Artwork

I recently finished this piece I have wanted to paint for a long time.  If you follow me on Instagram, you know how much I love to travel.  This past fall, my family and I escaped to Baja California for some much need relaxation.  From the airplane, you can see where the dry desert land greets the coolness of the ocean.   I have always loved these colors and admired the palette.  In this one particular area, the deserted yellow land beautifully dances with white sand and teal water.  It is mesmerizing to look at, but doesn't last long from the view above.
